This week on Impact Wrestling, newly-crowned world champion Sami Callihan and oVe make the show one big party to celebrate his title win over Brian Cage last week! What's in store for the new champion? Plus, Alisha Edwards and Impact X Division Champion Ace Austin go to dinner. All that and more on this week's edition of Impact Wrestling!

Video recap of last week.

Impact World Champion Sami Callihan and oVe drinking beer with a party and Callihan says they drink beer like real men, not a little bit of the bubbly like "b****es." Callihan says they are at the top of the mountain.

We are on tape from the St. Clair College Sportsplex in Windsor, Ont. Josh Mathews and Don Callis have the call for this week.

Moose vs. Willie Mack

Moose controls early. Mack sends him out for an ugly flip dive. Moose with dropkicks inside to drop Mack in the corner and he works him down. A MAck comeback is stopped by Go to Hell for Moose that gets a nearfall. Moose talks trash and allows Mack to fire up for the comeback. Mack with a stunner and standing moonsault for a nearfall. They fight up top and Moose with a superplex. Both up and Moose drops Mack on the top rope to set up the Spear for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Moose

Rating: 2.76 out of 5 stars

Apart from a dangerous dive early on, a by-the-book opener between these two that delivered fairly well.

Alisha Edwards talks backstage about her dinner tonight with Impact X Division Champion Ace Austin. Edwards walks around backstage and overhears Austin talking to Reno Scum. Austin claims they have already slept together, but tonight will be the last night after he has gotten in Eddie Edwards' head. Alisha Edwards looks on upset. Great beginning of the climax of all this, so we'll see how it all explodes soon.

Impact Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie argues with Madison Rayne and Kiera Hogan after their tag loss last week and Rayne wants a match. Valkyrie turns her down and goes down the hall, running into Jordynne Grace. Grace tells Valkyrie she wants a title shot after pinning her, but Valkyrie changes her tune and says she has a match with Rayne tonight. Quality cowardly heel work from Valkyrie here.

"Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs. Fallah Bahh

They brawl and exchange big boots to start. Bahh takes control with slams and an elbow drop. Elgin kicks out of the corner and sends Bahh to the apron. Elgin superkicks and dropkicks him into the barricade outside to work Bahh down. Elgin suplex for a nearfall before the break.

Bahh fires back as we return. Elgin with an exploder suplex, but Bahh with a crossbody to start his comeback. Bahh with a sitting senton for a nearfall. Elgin trips Bahh up for a kick combo and German suplex for a nearfall. Elgin super belly-to-belly suplex lands off the top, but Bahh pops up and lands a Samoan Drop. Bahh looks for a Vader Bomb, but Elgin moves out of the way to slam Bahh. Sloppy counter exchange into a crossface from Elgin.

Winner by submission: Michael Elgin

Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars

Not quite great after a sloppy finish, this was still a very good match for Elgin and especially Bahh, in what may be his best performance in Impact so far.

Alisha Edwards catches up with Ace Austin backstage and asks him to skip dinner to meet her in her room. There it is! This will be fun.

oVe get into the arena and celebrate down the hall, taking shots at Tommy Dreamer being fat in the process. Hotel room attack trope? Check. Tommy Dreamer fat joke trope? Check.

Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week features Moose vs. Marufuji in an Impact Grand Championship match. Impact World Tag Team Champions The North interviewed and they challenge Marufuji to a tag match next week.

Joey Ryan vs. "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock

Ryan oils up and offers a handshake. Shamrock gives him a high-five instead. Lock-up and Shamrock controls with position and arm drags. Shamrock drops Ryan down for an Ankle Lock attempt and Ryan with the rope break to end the wrestling clinic. Ryan dropkick puts Shamrock down and he fools him into a handshake. Ryan uses the iron penis to flip Shamrock and Shamrock pops back with clothesline and the Ankle Lock.

Winner by submission: Ken Shamrock

Rating: 1.75 out of 5 stars

While I have been vocal about having Shamrock perform for the company, this was fine for what it was. Quickly hitting all the greatest hits and delivering a safe finish is just about all you can ask for in this situation.
