Blood pressure clinic set at center

The Watertown Senior and Community Center will hold a free, walk-in blood pressure clinic on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no cost.

Watertown Rotary Club plans meeting

The Watertown Rotary Club will meet Monday at noon at Madison College, 1300 W. Main St.

Individuals wishing to join the club are asked to call Dave Lang, secretary, at 262-6300.

Loaves and Fishes meal planned

The Loaves and Fishes Community Meal will be served Monday from 5-6 p.m. at Watertown Moravian Church, 510 Cole St.

The meal is sponsored by Ebenezer Moravian and Watertown Moravian churches.

Family center hosts summer playgroup

The Watertown Family Center is hosting its Parent and Child Enrichment Playgroups in the Park this summer.

The playgroup will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. at a different park each month. The group will meet at Lincoln Park on Lafayette Street in July and Union Park on Elm Street in August.

The PACE playgroup offers parents an opportunity to spend time with their children while meeting other local families. During that time, parents/ caregivers and children will work on science, engineering, art and math activities. Children will learn through play and work on developing their social, fine and gross motor skills. A snack will be provided for the children.

The playgroup is free and open to children of any age, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Donations are appreciated. The playgroup will be canceled if it's raining.

Watertown Kiwanis host meeting

The Watertown Kiwanis will hold a Service Club meeting Monday at noon at the Crave Restaurant at Marquardt.

The club's mission is to make the welfare of children a top priority and organize programs to support the young population in the surrounding community. Service Club meetings involve discussing such programming and business matters.

Senior center to present movie

The Watertown Senior and Community Center will present the movie "The Upside" at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The movie is a comedy look at the relationship between a wealthy man and an unemployed man with a criminal record who's hired tohelp him. The movie stars Kevin Hart, Bryan Cranston, Nicole Kidman and Tate Donovan. The movie is rated PG-13 and runs two hours and six minutes.

The movie feature is free to members of the center and an activity fee of $1 will be charged for nono-members under 55 years of age. Refreshments will be erved.
