Family center hosts summer playgroup

The Watertown Family Center is hosting its Parent and Child Enrichment Playgroups in the Park this summer.

The playgroup will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11 a.m., at a different park each month. The group will meet at Timothy Johnson Park in June, Lincoln Park in July and Union Park in August.

The PACE playgroup offers parents an opportunity to spend time with their children while meeting other local families. During that time, parents/caregivers and children will work on science, engineering, art and math activities. Children will learn through play and work on developing their social, fine and gross motor skills. A snack will be provided for the children.

The playgroup is free and open to children of any age, but they must be accompanied by an adult. Donations are appreciated. The playgroup will be canceled if it's raining.

Call the family center at 920-261-2450 for more information.
